What a dryer vent inspection actually involves

We start behind the dryer. The transition hose comes off first. Crushed foil behind a pushed-back machine is the most common find. Then a camera goes into the duct from the laundry side. We follow the run to its termination and open the cap. A dryer gets run on heat while we check discharge at the hood. Weak flow with a clear hose means the blockage is upstream.
