Why Gilbert laundry rooms need a dryer booster fan

The cause is usually the floor plan. Two-story Gilbert plans put laundry on the second floor, then route the duct up through the attic to a roof jack. That vertical run plus elbows eats most of the dryer's blower pressure. Add desert dust bonding with lint into a compacted layer, and airflow drops further. The dryer still tumbles. It just stops moving moisture out.

A booster fan is not the first step. We measure the run first. Clean it with a rotary brush and vacuum extraction. Check the transition hose for crushing behind the machine. Placement matters. The fan mounts downstream in rigid metal, reachable for service, never buried where you cannot get to it. Most use a pressure switch so the fan follows the dryer. The fan itself collects lint and needs cleaning on the same schedule as the duct.
